AS Engineering and Consulting, LLC delivers geotechnical, environmental, and construction materials testing services for projects of every size and complexity.
Founded in 2020, AS Engineering and Consulting, LLC (ASEC) is a professional engineering and consulting firm specializing in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, and construction materials testing and inspection services. Our mission is to deliver practical, efficient, and technically sound solutions that help our clients successfully plan, design, and construct their projects.
Serving all of Georgia, with select projects across Alabama and Tennessee. Most of our work is concentrated within an hour or two of Atlanta.
We combine strong technical expertise with real-world construction experience to provide solutions that are both innovative and constructible. Our team of engineers, geologists, and field technicians has experience supporting projects ranging from residential and commercial developments to large-scale infrastructure and government programs.
Our experienced staff and well-equipped laboratory facilities allow us to provide reliable field and laboratory testing services that support quality construction and regulatory compliance across residential communities, commercial and mixed-use developments, institutional facilities, transportation infrastructure, and government programs.

Leadership
Ram Mogulla
President / Principal Engineer
Ram Mogulla is the President and Principal Engineer of AS Engineering and Consulting, LLC (ASEC), where he provides overall leadership, technical oversight, and quality assurance for the firm's geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, and construction materials testing services. With more than 17 years of experience in geotechnical and construction materials engineering, Mr. Mogulla has managed and supported complex infrastructure and development projects throughout the United States and internationally.
Prior to founding ASEC, Mr. Mogulla held key engineering and leadership positions with respected consulting firms in the southeastern United States, gaining extensive experience in geotechnical investigations, foundation design support, construction materials testing, and construction-phase engineering services.
His project experience includes major infrastructure, aviation, transportation, and large-scale development projects — including airport facilities, highways, commercial and mixed-use developments, high-rise buildings, reservoirs and dams, and energy facilities. He has extensive experience with foundation systems such as drilled shafts, driven piles, shallow foundations, mat foundations, earth retaining structures, ground improvement systems, and deep excavation support.

Our field staff hold GDOT Roadway Testing Technician (RTT) and ACI certifications across field, base, aggregate, and strength testing, and our engineering staff includes team members with bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering.

ASEC operates a full-service materials testing laboratory supporting geotechnical, concrete, aggregate, and roadway material testing under one roof. That means fewer handoffs, faster turnaround, and results you can trace back to a lab we run ourselves.
